With the training of Tech Drone League racing pilots, Antalya Muratpaşa Municipality established the first drone racing team affiliated with a public institution. With the attendance of Muratpasa Mayor Umit Uysal, Pasha Team has taken their certificates with a ceremony, and at the same time they had Turkey’s first female FPV racer. Besides FPV, Tech Drone League is giving “Do It Yourself” and “Drone Beginning Trainer Training” lessons.
The ceremony, in which President Uysal also attended, started with the demonstration flights of the trainers and Pasha FPV Team.
In an interview with Haberturk, our co-founder Can Tayfun said that Pasha FPV Team is a world first. “For the first time in the world, a public institution, Muratpaşa Municipality established a drone racing team,” said Tayfun, and drone sports are one of the fastest developing sports in the world. Tayfun said that more than 2 thousand races are held every year in more than 150 countries. He also added that 3 new FPV teams, including women, disabled and children, will be added to the 7-person drone race team of Muratpaşa Municipality in a very short time.
