Lifecell Tech Drone League 2018 Season Final Race, has been held on 22-23 of December at Nisantasi University NeoTech Campus.
In the last race of the TDL 2018 season, there was a rivalry between 20 pilots. From TDL’s new pilots Murat Ramadanoglu got 8th and Mustafa Omer Cankaya got 7th and Tanju Arda got 6th position. Celaleddin Demir who got the 5th position in the previous race, also saved his position at 5th place on this race too.
Final rounds was run as 3 heats and it was very competitive between Vince Irie and TDL pilots. Vince Irie won first 2 heats winning 6 points and Berat Özdemir had the 2nd position behind him with 4 points. At the last heat Vince Irie had a crash in the first lap amd Bugra Kaan Kabakci and Berat Ozdemir passed him. But Vince show his ambition to the race and broke the lap record with 16.35 having the 2nd position and becoming the champion.
Lifecell TDL 2018 Season champion got the reward of Huawei Mate 10 Pro Blue from Lifecell. Also the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place for the Final Race got Huawei P20 Lite as a reward.
Final race went on like a technology festival. Also the owner of Acun Medya, Acun Ilıcalı was our guest. His daughter Melisa, watched the race through FPV goggles, and he tried DJI Spark with gesture controls. Also he took pictures with his fans and TDL crew at the race track.
Another guest of us was Izzet Oz, who was a doyen for Pop Music in Turkey. he also visited us in our first race in Turkey at Kucukciftlik Park 2017 Stage Race. He watched the race with FPV goggles and played VR games at virtual reality platform KAT VR.
DJI Turkey Group Photograph and Video Contest was held at the Vancouver Film School class. Participants got their awards from the group administrator of DJI Turkey, Murat Turna. Unlike the previous event, tango and dance performances, DJ and dance competitions were organized in this race.
